CNN and North Point´s iBand

iBand era un openning de uno de los servicios de North Point y nadie se imagino que de la noche a la mañana iban a tener más de 2 millones hits en Youtube. Se ha vuelto toda una revolución.

Glenda Umaña en CNN entrevistó a Seth Condrey (al centro, http://www.sethcondreymusic.com) y a Julio Gonzalez, quienes vendrán a CR en el 2011 a crear una iglesia tan relevante, actual y emocionante como North Point Community Church. Esto será posible gracias a Open House (http://www.openhouse.cr) y Unidos por Cristo.

La legalidad de la marihuana y la libertad del corazón

La marihuana es legal en California y en 13 estados de Estados Unidos. Por eso, la legalización de la marihuana en forma nacional ya es una opción.

Puntos que ayudan a este tema a crecer en importancia:

Contexto:

La crisis económica genera gente desempleada, lo cual genera la creatividad y oportunidades de nuevos mercados. La marihuana es una que ha llegado para quedarse. Muchas personas que no tenían trabajos han encontrado en la marihuana un empleo, una empresa y un sustento. Moraleja, se está buscando legalizar la marihuana por motivos económicos. Por ejemplo el estado de Colorado recogió 21 millones de dólares en impuestos en el primer año.

Crisis familiar y dolor. Muchas familias y personas viven en 24/7 dolor y angustia. Los padres, abuelos o hijos son afectados porque sus familiares viven escondidos en sus cuartos o en hospitales. La marihuana les ha ayudado a recobrar en cierto porcentaje la vida que antes tenía. Esto realidad y gran verdad, genera y justifica la legalización de la marihuana por motivos médicos. Aunque en las consecuencias secundarias sean: Falta de conciencia en solucionar problemas e ilusiones entre 10 segundos a 5 minutos.

Cómo todo esto ocurrió?

El 19 de octubre, el Presidente Barack Obama hizo un Memo en donde dice y destina la marihuana para uso médico, pero sólo por medio de las licencias que los gobiernos estatales aprueben dar.

Qué ha pasado?

Mercadeo:

La marihuana se ha RE-mercadeado como una hierba que ayuda a los pacientes en condiciones médicas como: grandes dolores en la espalda, problemas con sistema sanguíneo,

Libertad o libertinaje:

Se dice que desde que la marihuana se legalizó las peticiones para ser paciente bajo la medicina de la “marihuana” pasó de 12 por día a 1000 por día. Igual las tiendas y médicos que la prescriben.

La Biblia

Jesús habló de la libertad y del libertinaje en Marcos 7.20:

Lo que sale de la persona es lo que la contamina.²¹ Porque de adentro, del corazón humano, salen los malos pensamientos, la inmoralidad sexual, los robos, los homicidios, los adulterios,²² la avaricia, la maldad, el engaño, el libertinaje, la envidia, la calumnia, la arrogancia y la necedad.²³ Todos estos males vienen de adentro y contaminan a la persona

En otras palabras, si una persona necesita medicamente la marihuana no es malo, si una persona está actuando bajo libertinaje es definido como un corazón contaminado.

En Gálatas 5.13, el Apóstol Pablo dio un gran consejo para saber manejar la libertad y el libertinaje:

Les hablo así, hermanos, porque ustedes han sido llamados a ser libres; pero no se valgan de esa libertad para dar rienda suelta a sus *pasiones. Más bien sírvanse unos a otros con amor.

Más claro no se puede decir. Sin embargo, el tema de la marihuana está creciendo. Así como el tema de los géneros, las opciones sexuales, el manejo de las riquezas, el tema de la marihuana está en la mesa para que cristianos ESTUDIEN, PIENSEN y APLIQUEN la Biblia y el amor de Dios a la humanidad por la cual Cristo murió.

Qué piensan de todas estas cosas? Hagamos un diálogo práctico, bíblico, y relevante para nuestra sociedad. Los líderes que buscan mejores pastos para sus presentes y futuras ovejas, deben estar 110% enterados y comprometidos con estos temas.
